What we are looking for

• History and explainers on the gold rushes, mining methods, or the workings of the gold market that answer a real question a reader would search for.
• Original work, grounded in reputable sources and not published elsewhere.
• Clear, plain-English writing that respects the reader's time.

Editorial standards

• Aim for 1,000 to 1,800 words of substantive, accurate content.
• Cite reputable sources such as the World Gold Council, USGS, and established histories. We fact-check, and we flag figures that change over time.
• No thin or purely promotional content, and no investment "tips." Contributions are editorial, not advertising.
